In addition to the regular, weekly practices held throughout the year, Stronsay’s Silver Darlings have played at many events, helping us to fulfil our objective to ‘encourage the knowledge, appreciation and practice of traditional music'.

20th November 2010 - Kirkwall launch of our new CD called Reelin' 'Em In at the Kirkwall Town Hall.
14th November 2010 - Stronsay Community Centre Second CD Launch with Stewart and Gwenda Shearer and the Young Westray Band - Fantastic day!
4th September 2010 - Stronsay Community Centre mini concert for Green festival.
22nd August 2010 - T in the Yard, All had a great time!
22nd August 2010 - Mini concert at St Rognvald's House.
20th November 2010 - Kirkwall Town Hall - Second CD Launch with Andy Cant and Raymie Peace.
3rd and 4th of July 2010 - We recorded our second CD ' Reelin' Em' In' with Phil Anderson and Stewart Shearer at the Kirkwall Arts Theatre.
29th May 2010 - Orkney folk festival in the Harray hall.
17th May 2010 - Norwegian Constitution Day - St Magnus Cathedral, Kirkwall.
30th April 2010 - Clic Sargeant concert in the Arts theatre alongside OTMP.
27th March 2010 - Musical guests at the Talented Orkney 2010 Final at the Pickaquoy Centre, Kirkwall.
29th January 2010 - Stronsay lifeboat Soup and Sandwiches evening.
24th December 2009 - 11.30pm, Watchnight service in the Moncur Memorial kirk.
12th December 2009 - 7pm, Stronsay tree lighting - A mini concert with guests The Stronsay Singers.

19th July 2009 – Small performance at the Stronsay Homecoming BBQ.

16th May 2009 – Took part in the Orkney Traditional Music Project Concert at the Pickaquoy centre, Kirkwall.

December 2008 – Played at the Christmas Watch Night Service in the Stronsay Moncur Memorial Kirk.

November 2008 - Stronsay's Silver Darlings received a grant from "AWARDS FOR ALL" to help towards the production of their first CD
10th September 2008 – Played at the Science Festival event held in the Stronsay Community Centre.
26th July 2008 – Played at a Ruby Wedding celebration on Stronsay.
12th July 2008 – Played at a wedding BBQ on Stronsay.
27/28th June 2008 – Recorded ‘The First Haul’ at the Kirkwall Arts Theatre.
8th June 2008 – Played at the Stronsay R.N.L.I buffet.
17th May 2008 – Played at Stronsay Community Association Quiz Night.
4th May 2008 – Stronsay’s Silver Darlings cake and coffee afternoon fundraising concert.
April 2008 – Stronsay’s Silver Darlings took part in ‘Bag The Bruck’ to raise money towards production of their first CD.
